BASIC TANK RING

The scope of delivery includes a BASIC tank ring and a counter bracket, which can be screwed individually to the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebar.
The tank lid can still be opened without any problems when the tank ring is installed.
Generally speaking, all you need is this tank ring and a tank bag for Kawasaki Z 900 / SE (2025-) and you will have everything you need.
Each model-specific tank ring is stored in the "My Bike" database for the respective motorcycle model. If no tank ring is stored, you can also manually use the checklist here in the store to find out if there is a universal tank ring available for the desired model.

FEATURES:

• Absolutely secure clamping, even at high speeds

• Easy handling thanks to mechanical locking.

• The Hepco&Becker tank bag is easily attached and audibly locks into the tank ring.

• Unlocking: The mechanism is unlocked by a strap in the direction of travel at the front of the tank bag and the tank bag can then be easily removed.

• Recommended maximum speed with tank bag mounted: 130 km/h (80 mph)

• Recommended load in tank bag: approx. 3 kilos

• Please note the information from the motorcycle manufacturer as well as the model-specific information in the manual or here on the product.

Difference between Lock-it and BASIC tank rings:
The general function and operation remain the same. Unlike the Lock-it tank ring, the Basic tank ring is only mechanically locked. With the Lock-it tank ring, magnets help to center it. The difference lies only in the two magnetic or plastic domes that are screwed to the tank ring. The model-specific "metal ring" is the same for both versions.

More information:
A tank bag with Lock-it counter holder cannot be placed on a BASIC tank ring and vice versa. The tank bag holder and tank ring must be of the same system.
