The next level of protection comes from the 4 mm heavy-gauge aluminum skid plate, designed with corrugated channels for maximum strength and rigidity. Mounting bolts are recessed into the channels for added protection and ease of service.
The Expedition cover is finished with high-strength, fiber-reinforced polyamide-nylon sliders that absorb shock and provide a sliding surface to negotiate obstacles. The rails also protect the bolt heads from rocks and other terrain hazards.
The Expedition engine cover from Touratech offers unprecedented protection for your Tenere's engine. The heavy-gauge stainless steel mounting plate absorbs impacts while supporting the oversized 4mm oil pan, which has integrated polyamide-nylon rails that absorb impacts, protect bolt heads and provide a sliding surface for overcoming obstacles.
Not compatible with Yamaha's OEM center stand. Our RallyeForm skid plate is compatible with center stands.
