Drop guards for F 800 ST fairings

To protect the expensive fairing we offer you, in cooperation with LSL, a very special version of the frame or engine protection, the drop guard. It is a new combination of decorative outer shell and plastic core with spare parts. The outer casing consists of a finely turned aluminum mushroom, painted as decoration. The rounded contour prevents snagging on edges that may be encountered on the track, such as manhole covers, holes in the asphalt, etc. The plastic core cushions the wheel from damage. The plastic core cushions the impact in case of a fall and reduces the speed of the vehicle. In case of small slips, it is sufficient to replace the plastic protector. If the slip occurs at higher speed, the contact area in the center of the protector causes a steering torque that prevents the motorcycle from over-steering, thus reducing the risk of a rollover.

Delivery is in pairs with a vehicle-specific mounting kit.
