Arai has continuously improved the "impact deflection" performance by learning from real-life scenarios. Thanks to the new smoother and stronger shell and the VAS system, the RX-7V brings us closer than ever to the ideal helmet shape.

With the VAS system, the visor mounting position is lowered, allowing an average of 24 mm more around both temple areas, in search of the ideal smoother shape that will increase the ability to dissipate impact energy.

As a result, it has been possible to achieve a smoother shell along and below the Snell standard test line.
