Shoulder and elbow pads and chest protection

Motorcycle shoulder pads are already commonly used among bikers and motorcycle clothing brands themselves, which already incorporate them in all their jackets. They have the function of absorbing the impact of a possible blow on a motorcycle, where the motorcyclist is thrown off or hits some element with the shoulder part in a fall with sliding.

The shoulder pads of motorcycle jackets are generally integrated inside the jacket, although it is true that the shoulder protections in sports or racing jackets are usually shown on the outside, with a harder material as sliders.

On the other hand, motorcycle elbow pads are another element of protection commonly used in garments. A motorcycle jacket elbow pad usually also comes in an inner pocket located in the arm area to allow insertion of the piece, which can be exchanged for another of a higher level of protection, larger or smaller, or simply replaced as a way to combat wear and tear.

A particular case is that of motorcycle chest protectors. Less used among the brands, they are a plus of safety on the motorcycle. The motorcycle chest protector reinforces the front of the motorcyclist and protects him from a possible frontal impact in the sternum and ribs area.

The chest protectors, like the other protections, can be placed inside the jackets that are designed for this purpose, or integrated, for example, in an undershirt.
