A winter motorcycle jacket has a dual function. Firstly, to protect you against the cold. On the motorcycle, the thermal sensation is much higher than in static, so it is crucial to have a good composition of layers on the body that allow the cold and moisture never penetrate inside the garment.

On the other hand, a good motorcycle jacket in winter has a protective function in case of a fall. Its outer layer, made of leather or cordura, avoids the tearing of the garment that would be produced by the abrasion of the asphalt, and the CE protections at key points such as elbows and shoulders would reduce the force of the impact.

On the other hand, a thermal liner is a must. Many of the jackets currently on the market already have this type of lining which, in many cases, are removable to make them more versatile.
