The Tech-Air® 3 V2 from Alpinestars is the brand's lightest self-contained airbag, created to be worn comfortably over or under any motorcycle jacket. It offers an efficient and functional option for touring motorcyclists, urban riders and light off-road adventure enthusiasts.

This system features an advanced crash detection algorithm, developed and refined after millions of miles of riding and analysis of thousands of incidents. As a result, it can precisely identify when to deploy the airbag prior to impact or in dangerous situations, whether low or high intensity collisions.

When the onset of an accident is detected, the airbag inflates in just 50 milliseconds, offering immediate protection. In the event of a frontal collision with another vehicle or obstacle, the Tech-Air® 3 V2 is activated before impact, providing effective protection from "first contact". This capability was tested under the Dolomiticert Protocol, with tests conducted between 25 and 63 km/h.
