The vital purpose of the Crater 2 WSP gloves is to protect your hands from the elements, especially the wind! It's as simple and as complicated as that. Simple because the objective is clear, and complicated because they must use technical materials to do so.

These gloves have undergone an engineering process whereby Gore-Tex Infinium™ Windstropper® technology has been applied to them. That means they are completely windproof, yet extremely breathable. They effectively protect against cold wind and perfectly manage internal moisture. They are very gentle on the skin of the hands, the fit is unbeatable and they maintain a very good level of feel and finger dexterity.

The fleece lining is present to protect from the cold. It is a plush, wool-like insulating fabric made from a type of polyester called polyethylene terephthalate (PET).

As for the protectors, the palm is made of abrasion-resistant drum dyed goatskin, in combination with the elastic PWR shell on the upper part of the hand.

Moreover, these short cuff gloves enjoy a hard knuckle area coating, a Temperfoam®palm slider and a layer of PWR shield also on the palm to complete an adequate level of protection.

PWR Oxford is a type of basket weave that is very durable, strong and lightweight and gives the surface of the material a lustrous and sophisticated appearance. Polyamide, better known as nylon, is a polymer blend that achieves excellent tear and wear resistance, as well as a low coefficient of friction that enhances its aerodynamic qualities.

PWR shield is manufactured using a unique knitting technique that results in a fabric with unmatched abrasion, tear and cut resistance. This product is equipped with PWR shield on the palm to increase safety in case the hand comes into contact with asphalt.

The material used on the index tip of this glove acts as a visor wiper. It wicks away water or moisture for better visibility when riding in the rain.
